Christmas in Paradise

Maligayang Pasko sa inyong lahat!

There is no sign of changing of the seasons here in the Philippines. It's still hot and tropical. There is a bagio down south, so there is heavy flooding here. I actually had to use a blanket last night because the rain made it cold! 

 

The decorations here are my favorite! Everyone makes colorful star lanterns from colorful paper and recycled materials. There are also nativities lining the streets made from palm leaves, bamboo, and plastic bottles!

 

As missionaries, we still proselyte on Christmas. I can't think of a better way of celebrating Christmas! I love giving out pictures of Jesus Christ and testifying of Him to everyone we pass.

I know Christ lives! He is the Only Begotten of the Father, the Light and the Life of the world. In Him, through Him and by Him we can gain eternal life.
