It's a White, White Christmas Here in the Philippines!
Maligayang Pasko!!
"More happiness awaits you than you have ever experienced as you labor among His children" -First Presidency message. I testify that this statement is true.
One of the happiest moments this week was when one of our investigators was baptized on Saturday and got married the same day! We have been working for months with this family. The dad is inactive and their children were baptized the first week I got here. But Nanay Josephine couldn't get baptized because they weren't married. It was a long process, we had to learn a lot about the laws here, but seeing how happy their family was made it all so so worth it!
After the wedding, she joined 10 other souls from our ward and about 30 from all around Daet in a zone baptism!

Transfers are tomorrow and my training also ends so we are saying goodbye to Sister Geralde. She has been an amazing trainer , I am going to miss her but she is moving on to bigger things! She just got called as a Sister Training Leader and will be leaving Daet.
In Joseph Smith History he says "It seems as though the adversary was aware ... that I was destined to prove a disturber and annoyer of his kingdom." I have definitely felt this in the past week. At one point in the week, after the prayer was said in a lesson, right when I opened my mouth to start teaching, a mirror that was hanging on the wall above me fell on my head and shattered. I wasn't hurt, it just kind of freaked us all out a little bit.
Im proud to call myself a disturber and annoyer of the work of the Adversary. Every time I see the Atonement working in people's lives, as I watch them become happier, kinder, and more hopeful, I know I am being an instrument in the Lord's hands. If Satan won't leave you alone, it probably means you are doing something right, that you are close to the truth and he wants to keep you from finding true happiness.
Keep fighting! Be an annoyer!
I love you all!
-Sister Gray
