You Shall Have Peace in Me

(Lost post from July 28th.)

Maray na tanghali po sa indong gabos!

Tag-ulan (rainy season) has started!

Last Monday we went to an ukay-kay (second-hand store) to buy sister Turituri new clothes and I found a treasure there in one of the piles. My new stuffed animal is named Master Nuno (gnome) and he's my new best friend.

I'm just going to share some pictures over the last week:
It was Sister TuriTuri's Birthday so we surprised her with ice cream and brownies

My favorite thing to do when I see nanays washing clothes or dishes is to grab them and start washing too and they always yell "kaya ko ito!" (I can do it) and I Malagasy respond "hindi kaya nating ito" (no we can do this!) and they laugh and let me continue.

My favorite Tatay got baptized on Sunday, he's the funniest man; when we ask him to come to church he always says he will be there at 5am. It was a tender experience because his nephew was able to baptize him.

We always have about 2-3 family home evenings a week, which are always the most fun and best way to build fellowshipping!

In other news, I had interviews with the new mission president this week, President Kirk. It was one of the most spiritual experiences! He gave me some verses to read, ponder and pray about and he gave me a priesthood blessing which reminded me of how aware Heavenly Father really is of me. I testify that this is His work. I find joy and peace in studying and living the gospel, serving Him, doing His will, and loving His children.

Learn of me, and listen to my words; walk in the meekness of my Spirit, and you shall have peace in me.  D&C 19:23

I know what no matter where we are in life we can find His peace and joy when we truly live the gospel.

I invite you all to do something this week to draw closer to Him.
I love you!

-Sister Gray
