For My Birthday, I Got a New Companion

Maray na aga po!

Sister Makanda got transferred -- to my old area! I also got a new companion:
Sister Turituri. She is from Samoa, she is very talkative, and we are having a great time together:)

On June 1st, we traveled to Daet (my first area) to perform the play. The stake did a great job, they had ushers serving unlimited popcorn and drinks, the members all brought nonmember friends, and we invited the local government officials to come-- and they did! They also did a live stream on FB live and the mission president said that it was very successful. Overall it had a huge impact and the spirit was tangibly there as we performed, reaching even those standing, crowding the back of the stake center, trying to get a glimpse of the play.

My old stake President and his wife bought me a cake for my 20th birthday
I ended up donating the cake to all the hungry Elders haha

I also saw some of my recent converts.
As I wrote the play I named the main character after The Villiaflores' daughter, Kim. It was so hard to say goodbye to them a second time

Sister Eleanor who was baptized in March, was working as an usher

Overall my birthday was amazing! Missionary work is the best! Especially when we think out of the box and try new ways to reach the hearts of the people and spread this joyful message. I love being a missionary.

Mahal ko kayo! :)
