I don't really have any pictures because we've been told not to take pictures while proselyting because of the nature of the area; we can't look like a tourist. SO sorry!
But here's a picture of our apartment:
It's so hot here. I didn't think it could get hotter but I was mistaken. Its summer now and we are melting.
This week I just want to share my testimony about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I have many weaknesses and I need the enabling power of the Atonement of Jesus Christ to help me change. Because "no unclean thing can enter the kingdom of God," we need His grace to be "held guiltless before the father" in the day of judgment and to feel peace and happiness every day.
We have to come unto Him with a humble heart and a desire to change and He will accept us in the arms of safety. No matter what. But we have a personal responsibility to lessen the distance between us and God caused by sin in order for Him to be able to help us. He has said "I have commanded none of you to go away, but rather have commanded that ye should come unto me, that ye may feel and see;" this means to feel the peace of a clean conscience and see the change that happens as we constantly live in accordance with His will. In coming to Christ, we will eventually become like Him: gentle, patient, kind and loving.
Come unto Christ.

And thus he shall bring salvation to all those who shall believe on his name; this being the intent of this last sacrifice, to bring about the bowels of mercy, which overpowereth justice, and bringeth about means unto men that they may have faith unto repentance.
