Goodbye Daet

Magandang Umaga!

Tomorrow is transfers, and I am leaving Daet. Although I am so so sad, I am also ready for a change. The hardest part for me is leaving all my recent converts but I'm made a lot of eternal friendships here, and I am going to keep in contact with them all. One convert quoted me in the sweetest letter about how she changed her life when she met us, and it made me cry. I am really going to miss all my people!

I am officially halfway through my mission, and I don't know how I feel. It's going too fast! These past 6 months in the Philippines have been so joyful and has also been the most humbling journey of my life thus far. Sometimes I feel very small and inadequate to be a part of this great work, but I am encouraged every time I read the scriptures:
" And now, O my son Helaman, behold, thou art in thy youth, and therefore, I beseech of thee that thou wilt hear my words and learn of me; for I do know that whosoever shall put their trust in God shall be supported in their trials, and their troubles, and their afflictions, and shall be lifted up at the last day." Alma 36:3
As I've looked back on the last few months, I've seen the fruits of our efforts in the faces of those who have changed their lives because of the Gospel. I was going to put a bunch of pictures here of the people we've been teaching but my camera is broken, so I can't share pictures anymore. Hahaha! Here are some pictures that my companion sent me:

Have a good week!

Love you! :)
