Maraming Himala

Magandang umaga po sa inyong lahat!!!
We saw a lot of wonderful miracles this week, as always.

The scariest part of missionary work is crossing bridges

First off, two people very dear to my heart were baptized and confirmed this week. When they bore their testimonies after their baptism, it was the pinnacle of my mission so far. We have seen them and helped them grow closer to God and receive the light and love that comes from living the gospel of Jesus Christ. It was just a great experience.

Baptism of Almera and Jay

I handed out a church invitation card to a nanny this week as we were walking to an appointment. Most the time it seems like nothing comes from our testifying contacts but yesterday she said she woke up and felt like she wanted to worship, so she got the invitation and made her way to church. We are teaching her now. :)

There is one person who we are teaching who we have only ever taught at a member's house so we didn't know where she lived. She is only in her 20s and she is recovering from a stroke; it's hard for her to move around. One day, as she was inside her house, she said she heard someone tell her to go outside because someone was coming to see her. She made her way outside and after a few minutes, Sister Geralde and I came around the corner, noticed her, and she immediately told us to come in!

The next miracle is: I'm cancer free!

Just kidding. Kind of. I've had a horrible cough for almost 5 weeks and we still don't know why. We've tried lemon and hot water, other herbs from people's gardens, antibiotics for a week, and now I'm on allergy medication. It's not working. But my chest xray came back negative, so it can't be too bad. Haha.

There is a cat that basically lives on the wall outside my window. I want to name him so email me with your ideas!
Ingat!
